Did someone say donut burger? Held annually at the Kentucky Exposition Center, the Kentucky State Fair opens tomorrow, Aug. 14. Travel the entire Commonwealth at the Pride of the Counties exhibit, explore an acre of agriculture exhibits, catch a free concert, and ride the midway rides through Sunday, Aug. 24 — oh, and don’t forget that donut burger.

America’s loudest rock and metal festival returns to the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center Thursday, Sept. 18-Sunday, Sept. 21. This year’s headliners include Slayer, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Marilyn Manson, and Evanescence. Plus, festival passes include access to Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.
